47 2025 - number 4 - promzvak.nl the green light in early January, and the racing season began at the end of March… that meant a race against the clock for us. Within just a few months, we had to design, produce, and deliver not only the team’s clothing, but also the merchandise. Jackets, shirts, caps, sweaters, you name it. On top of that, we had to set up a webshop for the merchandise and handle all the logistics that come with it. Our core business is B2B, but merchandise sales are B2C. Customer service, shipping, returns — it all worked very differently from what we were used to. And on top of that, we had to ship the merchandise all over the world, instead of just within the Netherlands and Europe. In short, it was a massive undertaking to get everything done on time. But we pulled it off. The great thing is that this case instantly shows what we’re capable of. That the customer is always our top priority, that we’re willing to invest in a partnership, that we move fast, that we value sustainability highly… For us, it’s the perfect reference to open doors with new clients. We always say: we play in the Champions League. We want to be champions in everything we do — and this is a great example of that. Sustainability and Formula 1 seem like two different worlds… At first glance, Formula 1 doesn’t seem very sustainable — but sustainability is actually an important topic in that world. For example, by next year all Formula 1 power units must run entirely on sustainable fuel. In addition, teams are being encouraged by the F1 organization to make every element that can be made more sustainable actually sustainable — think food, drinks, and clothing. Since Tricorp is known for its sustainable corporate clothing, that was an extra reason for MoneyGram Haas F1 to choose us. Before this interview, you gave me a tour of the Tricorp building. We passed cozy meeting rooms, calm open-plan offices, a vibrant lounge bar with a rooftop terrace, a photo and creative studio, a gym, and even a cinema room. And that’s not even mentioning the impressive entrance, the showroom, the large warehouse, and the Printing department on the ground floor. Everything was tastefully decorated, including lots of art. And you even have two chefs who treat the staff daily to a lunch buffet and meal service. There are worse places to work… Yes, Tricorp really is a great company and a fantastic employer. Besides having a pleasant working environment, we do a lot of fun and meaningful things. We have lunch together every day. Twice a week, a personal trainer comes in to give boxing lessons, and we also offer pilates. We organize all sorts of activities to create a sense of togetherness — padel tournaments, group walks, sushi workshops, wine tastings, movie nights. And every Friday we wrap up the week with after-work drinks in the lounge bar. We’ve also taken great team trips to visit our production locations, among others. At the same time, working at Tricorp is demanding. A lot is expected from employees — you won’t make it here with a nine-to-five mentality. But in return, you get a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment. We honestly feel like one big family. Or rather: a close 8 Look like a team, work like a team
