Visit us at stand 3045 TOP SECRET This is the first international edition of PromZ Vak. We have decided to release it on the occasion of The Supplierdays 2024, which is becoming increasingly international, both in terms of exhibitors and visitors. Hence the combination of this issue with the trade show catalog. For some time now, we have noticed that the market is changing. Among other things, due to increasing regulatory pressure from Europe, we see that some smaller suppliers are struggling and are on the candidate list for acquisition. We see the same happening on the distributor side. Larger distributors are also looking for acquisition opportunities, and we are also seeing American distributors making the move to Europe. The market is becoming larger and more international. Additionally, we are seeing a clear rise of companies from the IT sector, which are gaining more market share, particularly in the ‘onboarding’ and employee marketing segment. This is a very interesting development because these companies are primarily process-driven and much less product-driven. To make a long story short, our market is in transition, and we are all beginning to notice it. But change does not necessarily have to be a negative development. Take, for example, the sustainability requirements from end customers. Ultimately, we will all benefit from that. I would like to conclude with a quote from author Gloria Steinem: “The problem is holding onto the past. Embracing change is the answer.”
