Through constant investments, we have continuously optimised our production processes and also strengthened the site of Fischerbach in the beautiful Black Forest. In 1949, the company’s founder, Fritz Ullmann, turned a revolut ionary idea into reali t y: he transformed simple ballpoint pens into successful adver t ising media. Today we employ more than 250 employees at our headquarters in Fischerbach in southwest Germany. Sustainability as a factor of success To ensure sustainable development, an important aspect for us is to take a holistic view of the three components: economics, environment and society. In collaboration with Climate Partner, our headquarters in Fischerbach is 100% climate neutral – this includes the processing of all uma pens. The unavoidable emissions are compensated through climate protection projects. We consciously focus on investing in our region. The forest protection project in Freiburg aims to protect our valuable rural environment.
